    The Kelp Collector (2025)

    Most people see algae as that gross slimy stuff that grows in the sea, but not Sandy Webb. She sees beauty in the Seaweed, and collection of botanical specimens proves her right!

    Flickering Forest (2024)

    Nick Volpe LOVES bugs! This short film follows Nick on a quest into the Queensland rainforest to discover Australia’s fireflies, and uncover some of their mesmerising behaviour. Filmed with the team from NL Wild.

    In my Bones (2023)

    Meet Adele Pentland: a palaeontologist living on a remote cattle station in Western QLD. This short feature looks at Adele’s life as a researcher and her favourite animals - the pterosaurs.

    The film follows Matt Cornish, a wildlife guide and educator from Cairns, as he discusses the largest and most dangerous reptile on the planet, the Estuarine (Saltwater) Crocodile.

    Between the Tides (2022)

    The fringing reefs of North Queensland are rarely featured in public media. Yet they can be of the most biodiverse and beautiful marine habitats on the Great Barrier Reef. Meet Lawrence Scheele, the underwater photographer trying to change how we see these reefs on our doorstep.

    Life in the Wet: a frogumentary (2017)

    No other animals have diversified and conquered the Wet Tropics of North Queensland the way frogs have. Life in the Wet follows a number of frog species through a yearly cycle in this incredible ecosystem and explores the challenges they face.

    Intertidal

    Intertidal explores the amazing marine life found in the interdital zone of the Great Barrier Reef, and demonstrates the incredible adaptations they have to survive in this constantly changing environment. This series can be watched as short clips or one feature length piece.
